Havana House has opened a fifth location in Bakersfield. The store, called
Smokers Alley, is at Rosedale Highway and Allen Road in the Albertson's shopping center. The company took over the space from Wonder Cigarettes. Smokers Alley offers fine cigars, hookahs, gaming supplies, body jewelry and tobacco pipes, among other things. The store's hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays. Call 588-7284.
Precision Speed and Machine has been in Delano for 30 years. In 2003,
Posey and Tom Mettler bought the business and moved it to 12816 Jomani Drive in September of this year. A grand opening celebration, including shop tours, displays and demonstrations, will be held Saturday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information call 589-4611.
Bakersfield Pool Plastering has been in business since 1977. They recently moved to a new location at 2700 Jomani Drive. For more information call 588-1688.
