"You've got to love life to have life, and you've got to have life to love life." "Our Town," arguably the greatest American play, opens in November at The Empty Space. Written by Thornton Wilder, the Pulitzer Prize-winning classic "Our Town" harkens back to a simpler time a century ago, when everyday life was pleasant and uncomplicated, but just as substantial and challenging as life is today. "Our Town" shows us that the human experience is a timeless one.

Audiences young and old will recognize themselves in the play's vast array of unforgettable characters as they discover the bittersweet beauty of living life ... family, growing up, falling in love, marriage, children, laughter, tears, and everything else that makes up one's time in here in "the United States of America; Continent of North America; Western Hemisphere; the Earth; the Solar System; the Universe; the Mind of God."

The cast includes many favorites from The Empty Space as well as a few new faces, including Don McPherson, John Patrick Wells and Jennifer Hatzman as the stage managers; Brandon Turner as Mr. Webb, Amy Hall as Mrs. Webb, Sarah Taylor as Emily Webb and Christopher Orta as Wally Webb. Dr Gibbs will be played by Bob Kempf with Mrs Gibbs played by Heather Van Buren, George Gibbs played by Douglas A. Cheesman II and Rebecca Gibbs played by Ryanne Howard. The cast is completed with Jeremiah Heitman as Constable Warren, Ryan Watts as Howie Newsome, Ben leJeune as Joe Crowell and Lauren Montana as A Lady.

Find out why "there's something way down deep that's eternal about every human being" this November and check out a fresh take on an old favorite, the very funny and surprisingly touching "Our Town."
