Congratulations to Frontier High School Girls Golf team for winning the Central Section Team Championships, at Riverbend Golf Club in Madera Ca. Par 72. on 11-03-08. The girls played awesome, the top five scores were totaled to (414) Frontier, Kingsburg (436) and Yosemite (492). Other Bakersfield teams that competed at Valley, were Garces (437) and Stockdale (474). The girls only lost to Clovis West (Div I) (409) by five strokes qualifying them for Regionals at Canyon Crest Country Club in Riverside Nov. 17. The Division II Champions. Freshman, Meghan Shain (76), Sophomore, Jordanne Barr (80), Junior, Malea Miller (81), Sophomore, Cami Ullrich (88) and Sophomore, Tavia Rutherford (89). Freshman Taylor Shweiki (90).

Thanks to the coaches Tony Bernardin, Tom Aguilar and parents for all there hard work and dedication to the team.
