Are you yearning for a little more art and culture in your life? Has your thirst for live Theatre not yet been quenched? Do you have a little groove in your soul? A little rock n' roll in your stride?- Then look no further friend. I have the perfect solution to your average weekend: Go see "High Fidelity" the musical, at The Spotlight Theatre! This is not just "a musical," but a musical experience through pop-rock music and culture.

The story follows Rob, a 30 something record store owner, and the wacky clerks who "work" there, as well as lessons in life, love, and past relationships. A musical for the music lover! With an amazing cast! Plus, it will make you laugh until your sides hurt.. Need I say more... The off-Broadway show, will be making it's west coast premiere at Spotlight, directed by Hal Friedman. Based off the best-selling book by Nick Hornby, and also the movie "High Fidelity," starring John Cusack and Jack Black.

This show is not advised for children, due to strong language and themes.

"High Fidelity" the musical will be playing Oct. 10 through Nov. 1 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. at The Spotlight Theatre, 1622 19th St. For more information, call 634-0692.
