The Writers of Kern are delighted that our own Northwest Voice Editor, Dana Martin, will be the featured speaker at our October 18th meeting. As all connected to the Northwest Voice know, she is a dynamo of energy and has the ability to convey enthusiasum, confidence, and pride in all she does. Dana is also a published author of short stories in several magazines.  She will talk to the club and attendees about how to submit, what magazines are looking for, and where the best markets are for short stories.  Of course we hope she will give us some insight into her success with the Northwest Voice, a marvelous community newspaper and how to submit stories.  Don't miss this meeting.
