As some readers may know, local radio station KUZZ broadcasts students reciting the flag salute on Friday mornings. Staff and students North Beardsley Elementary school recently had the opportunity to be heard throughout Bakersfield doing just that - not once, but twice!
On September 17th, a representative from the country music station came to the school and recorded the nearly 600 patriotic youngsters recite the Pledge of Allegiance. These primary students were so impressive that KUZZ broadcast the pledge that Friday, as well as the following Friday.
God Bless America, and God Bless the staff and students at North Beardsley Elementary!
