The Beale Memorial Library is offering the following computer classes for the month of October 2008:

“Basic Keyboard and Mouse”  Have a computer but not really sure how to use it? Learn the basics in our introductory computer class. Saturday, October 4 or October 25,10 am – 12 pm.  Both sessions are identical.

“Internet”  Learn how to surf the Internet to locate helpful and fun information.  Saturday, October 11, 10 am – 12 pm.

“Introduction to Excel”   Learn how to create simple spreadsheets and graphs for home, school, or business. Monday, October 20, 6:30-8:30 pm.

The Beale Memorial Library is located at 701 Truxtun Ave.
All classes are free.

Other Events in October:

Family History Seminar, featuring Jean Wilcox Hibben, Auditorium. Sponsored by Kern County Genealogical Society. Cost is $20 per person. Please make check payable to KCGS.
