Assemblywoman Jean Fuller from the 32nd District paid an extended visit to Norris Elementary on Wednesday, September 17th.  Assemblywoman Fuller was welcomed with a short speech from Claire Jenkins, representing the Norris Elementary Student Council.  Cub Scout Pack #333 did the Presentation of the Colors.

Norris Elementary Principal Corey Osvog asked Mrs. Fuller to address the 4th and 5th graders that were the audience for Assemblywoman Fuller.  Mrs. Fuller explained what her job was and what a typical day entailed.

Mrs. Fuller then took questions from the Student Council Officers.  This was followed by questions from students.  One 5th grader said that his mother worked for the State and asked if “The budget would be passed soon?”  Jean Fuller explained that she was going to have to return to Sacramento because of the Governor’s Veto of the Budget. That meant she and the other State politicians were going to need to get back to work.

Jean Fuller stayed and had lunch with the Norris Teachers and Parent Teacher Club members.
