According to reliable sources at the North Pole, Mr. and Mrs. Claus and the elves are being deluged with tons of children's letters they will never be able to answer this year unless they establish branch offices throughout the world.
Fortunately for us, one of those satellite offices will be right here in Bakersfield. This local office will serve Bakersfield proper, along with the outlying cities of Boron, California City, Delano, Edwards, Frazier Park, McFarland, Rosamond, Shafter, Taft, Tehachapi and Wasco.
Parents may encourage their small children to write letters. Also, teachers of language arts who may be involved in a letter-writing unit are invited to have their students write.
This office will be open from now until December 15, 2004. All letters will be answered personally (not with form letters).
Letters should be addressed to: S. Claus and Associates, 327 "A" Street, St. Nicholas, CA 93304-1959.
