Most people know Dana Martin as the editor of The Northwest Voice, but I know her for more than that. Mrs. Martin was one  of the nicest, coolest, and just all around best substitute teachers I have had. Everyone knew who she was. All of the boys wanted her as a teacher so much! If you look in the front of the book you will know why.

Not too long ago Mrs. Martin took a job as a editor for The Voice. On her last day of being a substitut she taught my class. She told us how it was her dream to be an editor and that she was going to fulfill her dream, and she did. So now all I can say is good job Mrs. Martin! I'm going to miss you!

Dear Sierra, I miss you, too. You made my DAY with this post!!!  I remember my last day of substitute teaching very well. Substitute teaching was so fun for me. All you kids are so sweet and smart. You made it very easy for me to go to work. Don't forget, you can always find me right here online. When school begins, let me know which teacher you have, and I will make sure to come in and talk about the writing contest. Tell everyone I said hi!!! xoxo ~Mrs. Martin
