Before you head to the fireworks, visit the Spotlight Theatre for a 4th of July Picnic and Show.

Enjoy delicious homestyle barbeque prepared by the Spotlight Café starting at Noon before you catch the debut performance of The History of Rock & Roll: Born in the U.S.A at 4PM.

The History of Rock & Roll: Born in the U.S.A. plays through August 9 on Thursday nights at 7PM and Friday and Saturday nights at 8PM.

The Spotlight Theatre is proud to present the third installment in the popular History of Rock & Roll series, The History of Rock & Roll: Born in the U.S.A., written and directed by Hal Friedman.

Through dance and song The History of Rock & Roll: Born in the U.S.A. tells the story of two couples, one black and one white, going through the triumphs and travails of being an American from the 1960's through the new millenium. Filled with American themes, social commentary, and real life significance, Born in the U.S.A. will be a fun and poignant evening, taking the audience back through laughter, tears, and excitement.
