 Girls Summer Volleyball Camps

2 different camps!

July 7th-9th - All Skills Camp- Ages 12-14- 7:30am to 10:30am, Ages 15 & 16- 11am to 2 pm, Ages 17 & 18- 2:30pm to 5:30pm

July 10th-12th - Advanced Skills- same ages and times as above

My name is Jackie Bernardin I am a 2002 graduate from Centennial High School. I was born and raised in Bakersfield.I was a stand out athlete at Centennial HS. I played varsity volleyball and basketball all my years at CHS. While I was in high school I became very passionate about coaching younger girls. I received a full ride scholarship to the University of Texas for volleyball. I then transferred to the University of San Diego where I was the 3 time west coast conference defensive player of the year, team MVP, All-Conference, and broke the dig record in just 3 years for San Diego. After I received my degree from USD in 06' I pursued a Division I coaching job at the University of San Francisco then at the University of New Mexico. 
 
I really want to offer Bakersfield an opportunity to receive Division I coaching at an affordable price. If they were to travel up or down California the price of my camp is unbeatable. The price of travel and the price of other camps are almost triple and quadruple the price of mine. The player to coach ratio is very low so it is not like a college camp, where there is 20 players to one coach. There will be one coach to every 5 to 6 girls. 
 
 I would really like to get everyone in the volleyball community involved in my camp! I truly love to coach and love to provide my knowledge to younger players. I am all about the love of the game and enjoy all of the hard work that I have put into being a player and a coach. I also would really like to guide and give advice to the girls on what it takes to make it at the college level. This is more then just a summer camp....
