Do you find yourself repeating instructions or raising your voice in order to get your children to obey? Do you ever feel like there is something missing in your parenting plan?

If so, you are not alone. Join Heart of the Home founder Janet Ables as she shares parenting principles that will better equip you for your parenting role.

The "Moms on a Mission" conference, featuring guest speaker Ables, will be held Saturday, Jan. 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at RiverLakes Community Church Auditorium, 4301 Calloway Drive. Topics include "Reaching the Heart of Your Child," "Training Kids of Karacter," "Don't Make Me Count to Three" and "Instructions not Included."

The cost is $15, including lunch and materials. Bring your friends, neighbors, daughters, daughters-in-law, cousins and nieces (all ladies).
