The Northwest Voice is a great community to be involved with to voice your opinions, events, and news. I love that the site is easy to use and the postings are always entertaining and informative. A great story idea would be creating community garden areas around town for families to plant and harvest together. If a land owner would be willing to donate or charge a small fee per family to allow families the opportunity to share in the task of growing produce. It will teach children about how food grows, give them something purposeful to do, create family togetherness, and when it is time to harvest it will help families to save.

We enjoy the Northwest Voice because it keeps us in the know about upcoming events and what's going on in the community we live in. I would be interested to see an article about what kind of community arts programs are going on in the Northwest!

The Northwest Voice is a great way to keep up on everyday happenings. Whether it's a special event, a new baby, or some good ole advice from Dad. And did I mention that the new editor makes it that much better!! Way to go Dana!! As for a new story idea...WOW...you've got me stumped there. You guys have covered so many different topics. A great source of information for anyone!

I was so happy when the Northwest and Southwest Voice were published. I think it's a wonderful way to keep the community up to date on events around town. I really appreciate having the accessability of the Voice. Keep up the great work!

I love the accessibility, the forum, and the sheer right to properly express oneself amongst our neighbors; the people we see every day but never speak to except for in the Northwest Voice. In this, I feel a tie and a sense of community that would otherwise be left to a vacuum of disinvolvement. Too wordy?? Okay...because the Northwest Voice rocks! I also think a good story idea would involve a series of questions that our community pre-schoolers answer. Those munckins are always good for a laugh.

I like the fact that ordinary people living in the northwest can post news on the internet and if chosen will go to print!

The Northwest Voice is a wonderful forum for residents to convey their thoughts, opinions and concerns regarding local issues. Not to mention the ability for a reader to offer kudos and praise for excellence to other community members or organizations. Many of us who are not gifted in the art of writing would not otherwise have an opportunity to “be published” or have our opinions “voiced”. Thanks to the Northwest Voice we do, in fact, have a voice as a community. A great story idea for NWV that I would suggest is that of organizing a father/daughter golf event to benefit a local charity (this was my husband’s idea – can you tell he’s totally into golf???) Thanks for a great community paper. I look forward to many more wonderful issues (of which I will be certain to put in my two cents worth when appropriate). :)
