Centennial High School Virtual Business Heads to the Big Apple!

Five outstanding Centennial High School students are heading to New York.  The purpose for their trip is to compete nationally with other high schools in the "Virtual Business" world.  Virtual Business is a class offered by K.H.S.D. which simulates a real business environment.  Students run the class just as a real company would be run.  They interview for their job titles, have salaries, and personal expenses they have to balance, all while doing their daily job.  

They've earned this trip by winning fourth place at the sate level competition last November.  They will be presenting the business plan they created for the "virtual company" Universal Connections.  These five students along with their teacher Mrs. Combs, have worked long hard hours to get ready for this adventure.  In addition to all the class time, they've also met for countless hours after school, and on weekends to be ready. In addition to all that, as if that wasn't enough, they also raised all the money for the trip themselves.  

Good Luck to Universal Connections, business plan team and have fun!  You've earned it. A special thanks to Mrs. Combs for all you've done for these kids, the class, Centennial High School, and the community.
