For a nice break, my daughter Lizzie and I flew to Bakersfield to visit family. I'm originally from Bakersfield but currently live in North Pole, Alaska. During our trip we drove to Pismo Beach — a place I would always visit during Spring Break back when I was going to school. It was my daughters first trip to the beach and she loved every minute of it!
