California State University Bakersfield has pushed up the freshman application deadline to March 1.

General Admissions Information

A person may enroll at California State University, Bakersfield as a first-time freshman, transfer, graduate, post-baccalaureate, or as an international student. Generally, the application process includes the following:  

• Completed application form, paper or on-line version
• Two official transcripts from all schools attended
• Appropriate test scores, i.e. SAT, ACT, GRE, etc.
• $55 application fee or completed fee waiver form

First Time Freshmen

Applicants who have earned a high school diploma or G.E.D. but have never attended a college or university since high school are considered First Time Freshmen.
