On Friday, Sept. 2, Olive Drive Elementary held its annual Grandparents Day.
The day starts off with coffee and donuts for the grandparents hosted by Olive Drive's parent teacher club.
Principal Kelly Miller collects all the students and grandparents for a brief outdoor assembly.
After Mrs. Miller's welcome, the Pledge and the singing of God Bless America, grandparents went with their grandchildren to the classrooms.
Teachers had activities throughout the morning for the grandparents.
