Valley Baptist Praise Choir to record Christmas CD

Once again the Valley Baptist Praise Choir is working hard on a new CD due out this Thanksgiving entitled, "The Glory of Christmas."
It features 10 exciting arrangements, all orchestrated by Grammy and Dove Award-winning arranger Lari Goss. All the orchestrations were recording in Nashville using the finest players available.
This is the second CD the choir has recorded in the last two years. Last year's release was entitled "House of Praise" and is being heard literally around the world, expanding the ministry of the choir well outside the city limits of Bakersfield.
"The Glory of Christmas" will be part of Valley Baptist's 20th anniversary celebration during the month of December, and will be premiered at the annual Candlelight Lord's Supper Service at 6 p.m. on Dec. 18.
One Praise Choir member commented, "What an exciting and challenging time to be able to share in the making of such a project!"
The Valley Baptist Praise Choir and orchestra are featured each and every Sunday morning at Valley Baptist Church, 4800 Fruitvale Ave., in the 9:15 and 11 a.m. services. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 6. For more information call the Valley Baptist Church music office at 387-6310.
