My daughter, Justann Meek, is a natural athlete. She is 12 years old and she can do anything she puts her mind to. She has tried softball, soccer, basketball, track and even swimming. She did a triathlon at Lake Lopez in October. But her passion has always been cheerleading. She was given the opportunity to play the part of a cheerleader in her school plays at Olive Knolls Christian School because her leaders around her also knew of her passion for cheerleading. She never had the opportunity to be a part of gyms like American Cheer or Stars Gymnastics until this year. After pleading with her dad and I, we agreed to sign her up with American Cheer. She worked hard this summer and in July they picked the teams. Justann was selected to be on one of the top three teams at American Cheer (Senior Prep Level 4). She was thrilled! And her parents are very proud! I see this as the beginning of her many successes in athletics, especially cheerleading.
