Dear Ms. Ward,
I'm not going to wait as long as the man formerly known as "Deep Throat" to identify myself. I am a Northwest Bakersfield resident, and a singer/songwriter/psychologist who goes by my initials -- I'm Dr. B.L.T. I am also the mysterious Blackboard news contributor you identified in your article on The Starbucks Bible Boys. I won't take credit for discovering them, but I do hold the distinct, if dubious, honor that you bestowed upon me for coining their name.
I believe that these guys are great community role models, especially for our young teens, and that's why their activities at Starbucks and your article inspired my new song, "Starbucks Bible Boys," from my new CD, "Teen in Between: Conversational Pieces for Troubled Teens and Caring Adults" released Tuesday, June 7, on my Web site at www.drblt.com.
This song and 19 other original songs addressing teen issues and role models for teens were written, recorded, performed, produced and engineered by yours truly during the course of a nine-week class I've been teaching at Chapman University in Visalia. If you like the song you helped inspire (your name and your article are mentioned in the third verse), I'd like to offer a free copy to your readers via the following link that will allow them to hear and download the song:

Once again, thanks for pointing out these rock 'n role models to our Northwest community.
Bruce L. Thiessen, Ph.D.
