Carrot Casserole
2 cups carrots, mashed (about 2-14 or 15-ounce cans)
1 stick butter or oleo
1 cup sugar
1 cup seedless raisins
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
1 cup broken bread pieces (about 2 slices)
1 cup broken vanilla wafers or macaroons
1/8 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Mix all ingredients together and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Serves 6 or 8.
