Early Christmas morning, my mother came out to see what Santa had brought the kids.  On her way back home to finish making Christmas dinner, she was flagged over by two men driving in the Northwest area.

It is unlike my mother to stop for anyone, much less for two males.  However, when she rolled down her window, they told her she had a flat tire, and would she pull over so they could look at it.  She had a nail, and the tire was almost flat to the rim.

They offered to inflate her tire at their house if she would follow them home.  And so she drove with them into the track of homes on Riverlakes Golf Course (the entrance is by Walgreens).

It turns out that kindness is nothing new to these men, who my mother learned cook an annual "pajamas only" Christmas morning breakfast for all of their neighbors.  Indeed, robed and slippered neighbors were arriving as the men were inflating my mom's tire.

She didn't get their names, but I want to thank these two men, who showed the true spirit of Chirstmas love by helping a stranger.  They went out of their way and took care of my mom.

Thank you and Happy New Year.

The selflessness and generous good will of the men who helped your mother is inspiring! The deep sense of humanity those two good Samaritans so readily distribute bolsters my faith in mankind! What a great story!
