I know this article is two weeks old, but I wanted to make sure NorthwestVoice.com readers knew about it. Sam McManis, the media critic at the Sacramento Bee, wrote an interesting analysis of citizen journalism that included a shout out to NorthwestVoice.com. He also managed to not make me sound too stupid. Check it out at www.sacbee.com/107/story/21616.html.
You might also want to check out the Nicholas Lemann article he mentions at http://www.newyorker.com/fa.... I think Maria Machuca mentioned it in her newsletter about a month ago. Needless to say, I don’t agree with Mr. Lemann, no matter who he works for.

Hans -- Thanks for the info. I registered for the site and read the article. Good stuff. Worth the read. It's good to see that our paper is getting this type of attention.
