Having played on the Bakersfield Blast softball team just last summer, I played with some of the best players in the Valley.
Alyx Munden is a excellent all-around player who taught me many things while I played for the Blast. Her sister, Leah Munden, is known all over the Valley as one of the greatest 10-year-old pitchers around. I have seen Leah strike out players who are 15 and have practiced their whole lives. She is an awesome player and you will most likely be hearing her name soon. Leah is off to nationals to pitch winning streaks and to bring home the gold for Bakersfield.
