Remember the Titans?
The Bakersfield Titans finished second in a 16-team showdown Dec. 18 to 19 in Whittier, Calif.
The Titans shined in the 9-and-under Toys for Tots Baseball Tournament.
Saturday, the Titans won one and lost one. Sunday, with two more wins, the boys made their way to the championship game. The boys played hard and gave it their all, but Los Alamitos was just too tough (this time, anyway).
But all in all -- awesome job, Titans, for a second place finish! The Titans family had a blast traveling together. The team hung-out and went for pizza, and the players goofed off at the hotel and really showed us parents what having fun is all about. Thanks Bakersfield Titans and thank-you Whittier for hosting the event.
