My Little Man

Happy 6th Birthday to my little man, Kaleb Dickey!!

You are growing so fast!! It seems like just yesterday that you were my little doodle bug, and now you are a big bad kindergartener. We love you and are so very proud of you!!

Our summer vacation was extra special this year. We went on our annual beach trip, but this time we had a few added family members.

We had the joy of sharing our vacation with my mom, my aunt, and my Papa.

We were super excited to see that my Papa decided to join us for a couple of days. Since we lost our Gram earlier this year due to an illness, we try to keep him busy and surrounded by much love and support.

So, as you can see in this picture....we were keeping our almost 80 year old Papa pretty busy on a bike ride at the beach. It was tough, but we managed to all squeeze in our "Limo Surrey". It was advertised as a bike that would seat 6-8 people. After our limo experience , I am now convinced that they meant 2 adults, and 4-6 children. As you can see in the picture, we had 5 adults and 2 kids. We were packed in like sardines!! However, our moods never soured. We laughed so hard at times making it difficult to keep pedaling.

Either way, I am 100% convinced that Papa had a great time and that's all that mattered to us!! That's a bike ride that I won't soon forget, and I can't wait for our next!!

Centennial Prom Photos

Centennial's prom came and went, but the friendships will last a lifetime! Prom dates Josh Dickey and Summer Scales, Jake Ogden and Jordyn Martin, and Roman Juarez and Lauren Noworski take a few pictures before heading out to enjoy their evening.

Happy 17th Birthday Joshua!!

Happy 17th Birthday to My Sweet Joshua!! I'm sorry if it seemed that your birthday was overlooked this year. With Gram in the hospital and everyone out of town with her...your special day kind of got pushed aside. Well, I can promise you that we will soon celebrate your birthday like it was meant to be....with all of your loved ones right there with you!! We all love you and are so very proud of the fine young man that you have become.

18 month old Andrew Dickey sooo tired that he didn't have the strength to make it to the couch for his nap. So the end table will have to do!!

My Little Josh-Man is of driving age?? Oh my!!!

Oh how time flies when you are chasing around your little ones. Well my little one, Joshua Dickey, is turning 16 on February 16th.

I cannot believe my eyes. You have grown into such a handsome young man. You always make me very proud!!

Little Dickey turns 1 year old!

Our little "BIG" boy just turned one.

Andrew Carl Dickey (little brother of Josh and Kaleb) turned one on Nov.15. We had a throw back party of the 50's with family and friends. Everyone, well, almost everyone was dressed in their 50's best! It was a great time had by all!

For anyone who knows him, he has cheeks you just want to squeeze and eyes that light up a room.

Andrew Carl (named after his great-grandfather, Carl Buchanan Jr.,better known as Papa) was born on Nov. 15, 2005, at 9:42 p.m. He weighed 9 pounds 10 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches. He was born at Mercy Southwest with a lot of help from a great doctor, Dr. Wendy Crenshaw. He joins a house full of boys with big brothers Joshua and Kaleb and proud parents Darrin and Mandi. BE READY CENTENNIAL .... there's another baseball player coming your way!
