About Joe
I am a retired teacher who has happily found a second career in writing. When I'm not plugged into the computer, I can usually be found at Dagney's or Starbucks. My wife of 30 + years, Debbie, and I live with our two spoiled dachshunds, Rachel and Seymour. Our daughter Allison was marrried last year to a great guy, Daniel Sulenski. They also reside in Bakersfield. When we are not at home, Debbie and I can be found at our mobile home in Morro Bay.

Hi Joe. You probably don't remember me but I remember when you taught Jr. High at Actis. I was a student there, judging by your picture(s) you must have been about 10 then (sorry couldn't resist the age joke...). Anyway, the first time I saw your picture in the NWV it brought back memories of good ole' Actis Jr. High.
