The Northwest Voice

I moved to Northwest Bakersfield in early 2002 with my drop-dead gorgeous wife Joyce after renting a home in the Southwest portion of Bakersfield.   Prior to that, we spent a short time in Oceanside, California.  Between Oceanside and Bakersfield, I managed to drag my wife back east where I'm originally from.  Well apparently, you can't take a California girl out of California so we loaded up the truck and we moved to Bakersfield. 

I'm a freelance technical writer and information designer and basically work anywhere a contract takes me within California.  My wife is a business owner and basically works very hard to keep me organized and focused on my own business.  We both have a startup internet business that keeps us busy.  Other than that, we like trips to Morro Bay and we're planning an upcoming trip to Vegas in the near future.  We both like working out in the yard and like to entertain our friends and family.
