The Northwest Voice

Married, father of two boys. Moved to the Northwest side of town in December, after a 10-month stint on the Southwest.

I currently work at The Bakersfield Californian as the assistant sports editor. I'm the lead page designer for the sports section, so I spend most of my days/nights in the office.

My wife is a teacher at Olive Drive Elementary School, and so far we've enjoyed our time living NOR.

We're Midwesterners. I'm from central Indiana, she's from northern Minnesota. We moved to Bakersfield in December 2006 after two transcontinental trips. We met when she was a teacher in Blythe and I was the sports editor in Yuma, Ariz. We moved to a suburb of Charlotte, N.C. for my job and got married a year after the move. We have two healthy boys with a second greeting us on May 17. So we're both enjoying life as a foursome.
