Report Violation

Over the past few years, many people have had to travel over the tracks on Norris Road near Roberts Lane every day. Grumbling about the bumps and jerks that the buckled blacktop caused them and their vehicles was common. My own experience taught me to almost come to a full stop before venturing those tracks, which, at times, puzzled those behind me who were not familiar with this problem. At last, a brave soul put a large, red-lettered, hand-made sign on the side of the road. It simply read “Fix Road.” An orange cone accompanied it. The chain of events that followed this act got the job done quickly. On a Sunday, a friend called to tell me about the sign, which triggered my jumping into my car to photograph the sign. While snapping the picture, a man drove by, honked and gave me a thumbs up!
