Weston Peterson is a fourth-grade honor roll student at Del Rio Elementary School.
Weston also trains nine hours a week as a level five gymnast at American Academy of Gymnastics. He trains and competes on all six Olympic gymnastics events: floor, pommel horse, still rings, parallel bars, high bar and vault. Weston's hard work has paid off. At the sate championship meet, he took first place on still rings and was named the all-around state champion for his age division.
Weston will be competing on the state all-star team at the regional championships April 10 in San Diego.
