I am looking to start a fellowship of kayakers. I have been a novice kayaker and just purchased my first tandem ocean kayak and am looking for men, and women, who would be interested in taking camping and kayak trips. We are planning a trip down the Kern River on our kayaks from Yokuts Park to Coffee Rd. We have not determined a time yet but we are heading out on Monday, Labor Day. If you are interested in meeting up with us and taking a lazy yak trip email me good sun, wet water, kayak = fun.
